my city rarely gets rain. so when the skies are cloudy, gloomy, and grey, it's like i've become rejuvenated once again. something about the cold, wet weather makes me feel more at home. it gives me a sense of belonging, but even more, a sense of yearning to be somewhere completely different.

diary entry no. 006 - my dilemma with starting social media
i think i am in some type of rut. art block, writing block, all types of blocks. i feel like i've put in a lot of energy, maybe too much, into one thing and it's thrown me off-balance. it's all this pressure i'm putting on myself to expand. all this is supposed to be for me, for what i want to do, for my own thoughts and ideas, but it feels like i am doing it for everyone else, which sucks!

i got a request on how i added the tabs to my blog, this one is a lot more simple than the pony widget so I wanted to give access to the code along with the video tutorial (tiktok @digitalponygirl) for your own blogs! The only thing you would need to edit is the links to your blog labels, the tab names, and the icon link.
Something I might have to mention is, the way to get the tab link is to make a new blog label, and make sure it's spelled the exact same way. Also, the code should be added in Cross-Column in your layout. I hope this is helpful to you, let me know if you have any issues.

diary entry no. 005 - reflection from a former "quiet girl"
the last few days i've been dealing with horrible brain fog. the kind of brain fog that blinds your focus in class, where you can't absorb or understand any information getting thrown at you and you're struggling to keep up with everything being said. even while trying to study, i get so horribly distracted it's taken me hours to complete going over a single page. i'm not sure why it's happened so recently, but i suspect it might've just been stress overload + dopamine from doomscrolling that temporarily fried my brain.
