my fav ss27 onitsuka tiger runway shoes

 i first saw these on instagram a few days ago and i've been thinking about them non-stop! so now i have to share it with you all, i would loveee to hear ur thoughts about them. i'm just mentioning my favorite shoes, the rest i have rated on my tiktok, @digitalponygirl <3

before i talk about the shoes though i want to mention o. tiger's purpose for their designs in this collection. this runway was a collab with honda, so it's a very automotive/racing theme they've got going on, but with a touch of designer (because of course!). i think they execute this really well, it's very speedracer meets F1, heavyyy on the speedracer, and i'm also getting hints of motorcycle-riding from certain shoes too. 

1. the ICONIC kill bill yellow wedges

i actually really like these purely because of the simplicity of the two solid colors. the knee-high length plus the wedge heel!! GORG, no notes. it's a similar look to vintage boxing shoes, which i was obsessed with for a while, but the added wedge adds a touch of femininity to the racing aspect (and there's more where that came from). they also have a metallic calf-length shoe, which eh, not the biggest fan of colored metallic but i KNOW someone can make it work. 

2. white and red wedges

these ones i would 10000% buy!! they are sooo cute and you get a better look at the heel detail with these photos. they look sooo cool i'm pulling up to the function with these and a cute dress or a pair of shorts with an equally iconic white top. TELL ME U SEE THE VISION

3. studded loafers

these are sooo so cool, idk if it's just the jeans they styled them with but it just looks soo effortless and something i want to recreate so badly, maybe i'm just really into white shoes and studs right now, but i am just in love. the black looks great too, but i think it has golden studs? which is still cool but i prefer silver for myself. 

4. the heels?!!

ok, at first i was iffy about these, but i found myself thinking about them more, and the more i looked at them the more i loved them. they are just iconicccc.. i really like this pump more than the more chunky heel they have, and they also have it in silver which was okay, i think the blue just stands out so much more and is a lot more memorable. and like- the shoelace detail of it is just soo cool, such a cool concept for a heel. 

sorry it's been a while since my last post, i've had a really busy week with studying for a test i had every day for each of my courses, it was a lot to deal with but luckily i survived and passed them!! i hope over the next few days i can recollect myself, and come back refreshed and ready to take on what comes next.
